A village celebration, a contest historical;
This question’s for you, and it’s not rhetorical.Fun for all ages, harbinger of spring;
the Amazing Chase is the next best big thing.
The poetry should clue you in—Glencoe’s Amazing Chase is coming. The scavenger hunt of historic proportions begins in the Eklund History Center Garden, 377 Park Ave. at 2 p.m. April 27th. Join up with friends and family and spend a lively afternoon hunting for rhyming clues around the Village.
No admission fee for the event, but applications are needed. Teams are required to be no fewer than two and no more than six. If children are under 8 years, an adult is required as well.
Points are won by completing tasks at points around the Village that teams are sent to by means of clues. Bonus points are also available if you keep your eyes open.
Fun and prizes; no fees. Applications can be found at the Glencoe Public Library or the Glencoe Historical Society, 377 Park Ave.
