Lunch with Othello—lunch followed by the Writer’s Theater production of Othello sponsored by the Glencoe Historical Society—will move indoors June 10th due to the cicada invasion in the Eklund Garden. Lunch will be served at the Women’s Library Club, 325 Tudor Ct.
The Lunch with Othello event combines a Moroccan-style lunch from appetizer to dessert and a specially priced ticket for the show, both for $65. Lunch begins at noon; the play starts at 2 p.m. Rather than have the cicadas share the luncheon, the event has been moved.
Join the historical society and friends for an afternoon of discussion about the play and production, the luncheon and a fine theatrical. Those who hold tickets to Writer’s Theater for another day can change tickets to Sunday, June 10 without charge simply by calling the historical society, 847.835.0040.
Reservations are being taken at the Glencoe Historical Society, 847.835.0040. Lunch and a ticket, $65; lunch alone, $25. For additional questions, call the historical society.
