New light fixture on Eklund History Center
The Glencoe History Society has new exterior lighting thanks in part to the generosity of Deerfield Electric Company, Inc. and Idlewood Electric Supply, Inc.
Three energy-efficient, metal halide fixtures provide both for improved security and the safety of visitors to the Eklund History Center and Garden. The classic design of the fixtures was chosen to be consistent with the historic nature of the buildings and garden.
Installation was designed to coincide with the July 29 Garden Party—tickets are still available at $50 per person by calling the Society’s office: 847.835.0040.
