GLENCOE—The Second Annual Strawberry Sociable at the Eklund Center and Garden will be held June 13, from 2–4 p.m. Residents are invited to partake of strawberries and cream, enjoy a short ceremony when we unveil new bricks on the family walk-way and enjoy the exhibits in the museum.
The Historical Society is upholding the tradition of a Strawberry Sociable held by former members of the society in the late 1940s. The tradition was resurrected last year, although without the garden hats and white gloves.
Join us for an afternoon of—we hope—sunshine in the garden, sweets on the terrace and interesting exhibits on Sports of All Sorts, Glencoe, Scotland; and Old Glencoe inside.
