Map Exhibit Open At Historical Society Sunday, April 13 (Apr 15, 2003)

GLENCOE—Hats off to the Glencoe Historical Society curators who are creating the next exhibit at the Eklund History Center—Crowning Glory, a look at the changing fashion of women’s and men’s toppers.

Curators Janice Gemp and Alice Glicksberg worked all summer to create a wondrous array of hats—with an exhibit based on artifacts from the Historical Society’s collection ranging from the 1870s to the 1970s. Bonnets and pillboxes, snoods and top hats will be on display Sundays from 2–4 p.m. or by appointment.
