Hours
The Eklund Garden is open to the public at all times.
The Eklund History Center houses the Society’s collection and exhibits. The Museum is located on the first floor, and the Research Center is located on the second floor. Each is staffed by volunteers and has its own hours:
- Museum
- Open all year except during August and on holidays, the regular hours are:
- Wednesday 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and
- Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 PM.
- Research Center
- 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM every Wednesday from September through May. The Research Center also may be accessed during Museum hours.
Please call in advance of a visit to confirm hours for any particular day.
Both the Museum and Research Center may open by appointment; please call to make arrangements.
Location
The Glencoe Historical Society is located at the Eklund History Center and Garden on Park Avenue in the Glencoe, Illinois. The land and buildings lie in the heart of Glencoe’s business district and were donated by former, longtime Glencoe resident Sara “Sally” Eklund.
